WHO WE ARE

WWHS Biotech Inc. ("WWHS") is a holding subsidiary of Sansure Biotech Inc. (stock code: 688289), co-founded by Professor Hongjie Dai, a globally renowned chemist, member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, the U.S. National Academy of Medicine, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Focused on second near-infrared window (NIR-II) fluorescence enhancement technology, WWHS integrates R&D and manufacturing of reagents, instruments, and nanomaterials. Incubated by the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, it is a National High-tech Enterprise (HNTE) and a Shenzhen "Specialized, Refined, Differentiated and Innovative" (SRDI) small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), recipient of the "Outstanding Product Award" at the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) and other honors, and certified to ISO 13485. The company was among the first to apply NIR-II fluorescence technology to in vitro diagnostics (IVD), striving to make NIR-II precision testing widely accessible to all and bring frontier technology to broader primary-care settings.

R&D Strength

The team brings together experts from Stanford University, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), with world-leading capabilities in biochip development, nanomaterial synthesis, and nanobiotechnology applications.

Technology Platform

Leveraging NIR-II's long wavelengths to suppress background autofluorescence in biological samples, the platform achieves precise detection with superior anti-interference performance, even on complex specimens affected by hemolysis, icterus (jaundice), or lipemia.

Our Journey

2014Founded

Selected into the fourth batch of Shenzhen's "Peacock Plan" innovation and entrepreneurship teams.

2015Team onboarded

The core R&D team joined the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School and established the Plasma Nano-Biochip R&D Center.

2016Incorporated

Officially incorporated in Pingshan, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
The core project "Application of Plasma Nanogold Biochips in Medicine" won the Excellent Product Award at the 18th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF).

2017Production launched

The Pingshan GMP-standardized production facility went into operation.
The independently developed "Ultra-Sensitive Immunochromatography Technology Based on Near-Infrared Fluorescent Nanoparticles" won the Excellent Product Award at the 19th CHTF.

2018Competition champion

With its core ultra-sensitivity immunochromatography technology based on NIR fluorescent nanoparticles, the company won the overall championship in the Enterprise Group at the 3rd "Qilin Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Pingshan District.

2019Product launch

The world's first infrared fluorescence immunoassay analyzer, the NIR-1000, received approval and was launched on the market.
Successfully accredited as a National High-Tech Enterprise.
The infrared fluorescence POCT project won the Excellent Product Award at the 21st CHTF.

2021SRDI SME

Accredited as a Shenzhen "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative" (SRDI) SME, with official recognition of the company's specialized and refined development capabilities.

2022System certified

Successfully passed ISO 13485 certification for the medical device quality management system.
Passed re-evaluation and was re-accredited as a National High-Tech Enterprise.
Obtained its first CE certificate, officially embarking on overseas market expansion.

2023Projects completed

Multiple key provincial- and municipal-level S&T R&D projects were successfully completed.

2025Featured devices

Three kits — PCT, HbA1c, and S100β — were selected for the first batch of the Pingshan District "Featured Medical Devices" list.

2026Ecosystem integration

Strategic investment from Sansure opened a new chapter of industrial synergy.
Professor Hongjie Dai was appointed Chairman of Sansure's Global Strategic Technology and Science Advisory Expert Panel, continuing to empower the industrialization of NIR fluorescence technology.
